John W. Glomb, Jr.

John Glomb is Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of Philadelphia Insurance Companies.  Prior to joining Philadelphia Insurance Companies in 2007, Mr. Glomb worked for six years at Banc of America Securities LLC (BAS) in their Financial Institutions Investment Banking practice.  Before joining BAS, he worked at National Union, the management and professional liability subsidiary of American International Group, as a Regional Vice President. 

Mr. Glomb received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. 

Mr. Glomb is married and has four children.
