Dr. Jill Biden at AIM for the Stars

The AIM for the Stars event was truly magical.  The beautiful Lincoln Room at the Union League was filled to capacity with our talented students and teachers, our dedicated parents and Board of Trustees, and our many corporate and education partners and foundations who support AIM’s mission of literacy and education for children with learning differences.

We sold out the event with 370 people in attendance!  It was an evening of great networking and connections for education. We were all inspired that Dr. Jill Biden spoke to us about her passion for education. Our honorees, Tracy Johnson and Philip Schultz touched everyone that evening with their stories of perseverance and commitment to learning how to read and succeed in their chosen careers. Our dignitaries including Mayor Michael Nutter and the Honorable Ed Rendell also spoke from the heart about the commitment to education in the region.

Many of our guests did not have a chance to contribute to our scholarship fundraiser during the evening and have asked us to resend the link to Fund the Dream so that they have the opportunity to do so. We hope you will all take time to help us meet our $25,000 scholarship goal for the evening.  Families are often looking for things to buy in honor of family members at the holidays.
