AIM~Academy In Manayunk, in conjunction with The Lab School of Washington®, addresses the needs of children with average to above average intelligence who, through evaluation by a qualified specialist, have been determined to have or be at risk for a specific learning difference/disability. AIM welcomes applications for the 2010-2011 school year for children entering grades 1-11. Currently, there are limited spaces available in specific grades. Please contact Karen Keesey, Assistant Director of Admissions, to determine the availability of space per grade. Our first graduating class will be in June 2012.
AIM encourages applications from and admits students of any racial, ethnic or religious background. Its programs and policies are applied with equal consideration to all applicants and students.
If you are interested in applying to AIM for your son or daughter, please review the Admissions Procedure carefully and submit the completed online Application and other requested documents. Also, please have your child's teacher complete the Student's Strengths and Needs Profile (Teacher Evaluation Form) and forward it to the school. The Admissions Committee will review the application when it is complete. If the student is an appropriate candidate for AIM's program, he or she will be invited for a visit.
