Dear Friend of AIM~Academy In Manayunk, 

On June 1, 2010 we will host our third annual AIM for Kids Golf Classic and Auction Extravaganza to benefit AIM~Academy In Manayunk— a research-to-practice school serving children, parents, and educators in the field of learning disabilities.  The tremendous outpouring of support for our first two events, raising over $120,000, has provided the technology, teacher training, and resources that enable our students to succeed in mastering reading, writing, and math skills.  To continue to impact students, families, and educators – we need your support as well!

AIM will host this wonderful day of golf and a fun evening of dining and bidding on both live and silent auction items on June 1, 2010, at Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.

Our students and our school are hoping that YOU
will support AIM for Kids by donating to our silent auction! This is an excellent opportunity to promote your business, while also raising support and awareness of a very worthwhile local institution.  Your company’s name will be prominently displayed by your donation and you will be recognized in the program book given to each of the 200 or more guests attending the event.  Most importantly, your donation will help to make a difference in the daily lives of AIM students.

AIM for Kids is one of our school’s two major fundraising events that help us to spread awareness of AIM’s mission as well as to inspire members of our community to join with our AIM families and friends to support our students. Our tremendous growth over just three years demonstrates the need to help children who struggle to read, write, and master basic math skills.  We hope you will join with our parent community, loyal friends, and dedicated Board of Trustees who have been working hard to foster philanthropic support, build our endowment, and address our growing facility needs. 

This year we are implementing something new for our donors, sponsors, and advertisers; we will be putting together a list of everyone who gave in support of AIM for Kids and sharing it with our entire community—parents, faculty and board, to encourage everyone to patronize businesses that support our event.  This is a great marketing tool, and it gives us an extra way to say thank you for supporting AIM~Academy In Manayunk. 

An auction donation form can be found here on our website and can be returned to AIM; we hope to have all commitments in by May 7th so we have every opportunity to properly acknowledge our sponsors and to publicize our auction items.   Also, please send any pertinent information that you think will help promote your product or services.  If you have any questions, please contact AIM’s Development Office at 215-483-1776.
