Academic Club Theme: Explore the White Nights of Russia

Elementary Enrichment Program (entering grades 1 - 5)
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Small group reading and writing instruction utilizing Fundations, Wilson Reading, RAVE-O, Framing Your Thoughts and other research based programs
  • Multisensory math computation, fluency and word problems
  • Arts-based learning to enrich the study of history, science, and world cultures

Upper School Enrichment Program (entering grades 6 - 12)
9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
$2095

  • Individualized reading and writing instruction utilizing assistive technology-SOLO Literacy Suite.
  • Focus on math skill development including word problems
  • SAT/ACT prep available
  • Arts-based learning to develop rich background knowledge for comprehension
  • Individual tutoring sessions available in the afternoon.

Afternoon program in partnership with Penn Charter Summer Camps (entering grades 1 - 8)
12:30 PM to 3:30 PM

  • Transportation from AIM~Academy In Manayunk to William Penn Charter School will be provided
  • Campers can choose Day Camp or Sports Camp
  • Day Camp - Build friendships and lasting memories while enjoying a variety of activities such as: tennis, swimming, archery, music, drama, art, dance, cooking and games!
  • Sports Camp - Daily instruction mixed with skill contests, game days and tournaments make this a perfect program for sports enthusiasts. Increase your skills while you enjoy: basketball, soccer, flag football, lacrosse/field hockey, baseball/softball, team handball, floor hockey and swimming.
  • After Camp Program (snacks and supervised activities included) available from 3:30-5:45 for an additional fee of $10 per day.

Interactive Metronome

Interactive Metronome is a computer-based rehabilitation program that targets auditory and visual processing for improved motor planning and sequencing. The student matches his/her movements to a computer generated beat and receives feedback regarding performance. Students who participate in the program have shown improvements in motor coordination, language processing and academic performance.

Cogmed Working Memory Training (25 sessions)

Cogmed Working Memory Training is a proven software-based program designed for sustainably improved attention and working memory capacity. Working memory is the ability to keep information in mind for a short time, focus on a task and remember what to do next. Clinically proven results demonstrate that after training, users increase their ability to concentrate, control impulsive behavior, and better utilize complex reasoning skills.

One-on-One Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy sessions and evaluations are available. Comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations are available through the Psychology Department.
