The third largest country in the world with the largest population, China is home to the oldest continuous civilization on earth. Its unique culture and customs can be traced back to the earliest origins of mankind.
With its grand, bio-diverse countryside including the fertile basin of the Yellow and Yangtze River to the heights of Mt. Everest along the Nepalese border, China gives us the giant panda, bamboo forests, the mystical legend of the Chinese dragon, the Great Wall of China, the great dynasties of the imperial age, a rich culture in the arts, a great economic power and the largest exporter and importer of goods in the world today.Together, letís explore the wonders of China, its ancient past and powerful present.
The spirit of adventure and exploration moves from the classroom to the field with AIM's summer afternoon program for grades 1-5. Students will enjoy a variety of sports, such as Archery, Beach Ball, Volleyball, Track and Field, and Soccer. Then it's off to explore interests in Music and Drama culminating in the end of summer camp show!
Middle and Upper School students will have an opportunity to explore their creative interests in a “Can do” studio based environment. Options include work in Digital Arts such as film, photography or game design. Studio Arts offerings include drawing, painting, sculpture and printmaking while Innovation Lab provides students with the opportunity to delve into architecture, wearable art, product design and more!
