AIM summer program AIM summer program AIM summer program

This summer, the AIM Academy Enrichment Program will take students on an incredible journey across the Atlantic Ocean to the Eastern coast of Africa to a multi-cultural country which lies directly on the equator. We will explore Kenya, with its tremendous regional and cultural diversity, its flat desert landscapes, and savannahs rich with wildlife, pure beaches, snow-capped mountains, and cultures unchanged by the modern world. Kenya’s rich history and unique traditions have inspired some of the world’s greatest literature, films, and visual arts.

Students will embark on a breathtaking safari through the Maasai Mara, Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. Thriving among lions, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, cheetahs, monkeys, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles are the Maasai, a strongly independent people of Southwestern Kenya. Come explore the various habitats of the Mara, a place where fearless Maasai warriors co-exist with wild animals in this truly unique and fascinating ecosystem. Karibu! Welcome!
