At the Academy In Manayunk, we recognize Assistive Technology as an important piece of the support system that enable individuals with learning disabilities to achieve success. AIM has been awarded a $30,600 grant from the Connelly Foundation to enhance our assistive technology capabilities. This support will allow us to purchase more SmartBoards (pictured) and computers, as well as add to the sophisticated variety of assistive technology software we utilize everyday. With our enrollment more than doubling in one year—the generous support of the Connelly Foundation will enable us to enhance the learning experience of our students.
