Lead Teacher/Assistant Teacher Positions

Positions available for Summer School (June, 2008) and Full-Time (August , 2008)

• Elementary – Grades 1-5
• English/Writing/Reading – Grades 6-9
• Mathematics – Grades 6-9
• Science – Grades 6-9
• Social Studies – Grade 9
• Arts Teachers – Art, Music, Drama, Graphic Arts, Animation, Film Making

• Special Education Certification Required
• Knowledge or Experience in The Lab School of Washington Model is a plus
• Specific interest and experience in learning disabilities, dyslexia required
• Certification in Research-Based Programs a plus - Wilson Reading, RAVE-O, Lindamood Bell,Framing Your Thoughts, Read Naturally, Thinking Reader, other technology programs
• Desire to acquire certification in Research-Based programs required
• Entrepreneurial in spirit and approach - must enjoy fast-paced environment
• Team-based teaching is required - Highly collaborative staff
• Knowledge of IEP process and progress monitoring essential
