The Academy In Manayunk is pleased to announce that we are offering three Wilson training programs in Spring and Summer 2008: Fundations (1 day), Wilson Reading System Overview (3 days) and Wilson Level I Summer or Fall Training/Certification & Practicum.  All classes will be held at the Academy In Manayunk, a Wilson Partner School, located at 169 Conarroe St., Phila. Wilson Fundations Introduction and Various Levels Workshop
Spring 2008 – Thursday, April 17  FULL
Summer 2008 – Thursday, May 29 Seats still available
Wilson Fundations for K-3 is a phonological/phonemic awareness, phonics and spelling program for the general education classroom. Fundations is based upon the Wilson Reading System® principles and serves as a prevention program. The workshop will be held from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Cost is $195 per person.

Wilson Reading System Introductory Workshop/Applied Methods – Two-Day Overview
Spring 2008 – Thursday & Friday, April 24 & 25  FULL
A prerequisite for Level I Certification training is attendance at this Wilson Overview.  The Overview will be held each day from 8:30 am -3:00 pm. 

Wilson Reading System Introductory Workshop/Applied Methods – New Three-Day Overview
Summer 2008 – Wednesday - Friday, July 30, July 31 & August 1 Seats still available
A prerequisite for Level I Certification training is attendance at this Wilson Overview.  The Overview will be held each day from 8:30 am -3:00 pm.  Cost is $470 per person.

Wilson Reading System Level 1 Certification Summer Intensive Training
(Includes Word Study Online Course and Practicum)    FULL
Summer 2008 – June 23 - July 25, 2008 (5 weeks)
The Wilson Reading System Level I Certification Training (Summer Intensive Course) will run from Monday, June 23, 2008 through Friday, July 25, 2008 (no class July 4, 2008). Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm& Friday, 8:30 am - 12:00 noon. This program is ideal for educators who wish to complete the training in the summer.  You will have the opportunity to work with three practicum students each day and participate in daily seminars presented by a certified Wilson Trainer to reinforce lessons and concepts. 

Wilson Reading System Level 1 Training & Certification

Fall 2008 – Begins Saturday, September 13 and continues through the Fall semester
The cost for this Wilson Level I Training, Certification and Practicum is $1350 per person.

MATERIALS
