Broadway headed to AIM Academy on Saturday, October 29 with an evening celebrating the performing arts at AIM and our new AIM Community Center. Guests enjoyed favorite songs from musicals such as CATS, Phantom of the Opera, Evita and Les Miserables performed on the AIM stage by experienced Broadway actors. The evening also included a finale performance featuring AIM students who will have the opportunity to participate in a master class with the performers.
February Frenzy - Friday, February 3 7-9 pm
February Frenzy features AIM's Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams in a battle against the teachers. AIM alumni come back to join the fun and support the Wolf Pack. In conjunction, our Home School Association hosts a bake sale.
b.A.S.H. - Thursday, April 27 5:30-8:30 pm
b.A.S.H. is an annual event intended to showcase students and their work. The event which blends (b) work from the Arts (A), STEM subjects (S) and Humanities (H) is held during the day and at night in the early Spring. Student work from Grades 1-12 is on display for two events. The first event takes place during the school day and is intended for our students to share work with one another; Lower School students tour Middle and Upper School areas and vice versa.
The second event is held in the evening and is for parents, extended family and members of the community, typically totalling over 250 people. Student work includes written products, digital artifacts of learning, student performances, live debate/discussion, student films, 2D and 3D art work, robots, 3D printed projects, student prepared food, and the list goes on. All students and teachers participate in the b.A.S.H. so this is truly one of our signature community events.
Fall Fest is a day when the whole AIM Community comes together to take part in games and activities. Many of our Upper School students work with younger students volunteering to run various stations.
This annual event occurs in the Fall and showcases the pride of the Wolf Pack from 1st-12th grades alongside alumni, faculty and families. Students and staff dress in themes throughout the week with the culminating day as Blue & Gold Homecoming. There is an all-school pep rally, Varsity soccer game and Upper School dance.
