Human Resources Associate

The mission of AIM is to develop a center for educational excellence and professional development to disseminate best practices to educators by providing access to the latest research-based curriculum, technology, and training.

Although this is a primarily an on campus HR focused position, it is also cross departmental, which requires the successful candidate to preferably have a minimum 2-5 years relevant experience at a school or with a non-profit organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Essential Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Assisting the HR Coordinator with keeping employee clearances and records up to date. 

  • Assisting the HR Coordinator to upload documents onto the Payroll System and also input HR/Payroll data into the system.

  • Assisting the HR Coordinator to validate employee identification through E-Verify.

  • Assisting the HR Coordinator with assigning sub coverage for faculty and front desk team.

  • Reconciling monthly benefit billing for the health and supplemental benefits.

  • Assisting with Bank reconciliations and other Business Office tasks including the posting of credit card and check transactions in QuickBooks, as required.

  • Expediting, recording and reconciling departmental employee expense reports and submitting these for approval and reimbursement. 

  • Assisting with the management of Accounts receivables and calling for past dues using the FACTS student billing and collections system.

  • Assisting the HR Coordinator and Controller with cross-departmental duties as assigned.

  • Must be detailed oriented, highly organized, ability to work within deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills.

  • Display ability to prioritize, ability to multitask and take initiative to assist as needed.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to pick up new concepts and learn quickly in a changing environment.

  • Demonstrated self-starter with the desire to show ownership and commitment.
