Job Summary

AIM Academy is proud to announce an opening for a front desk receptionist / administrative assistant position.  We provide exceptional education to students in grades 1 - 12 and are looking for an energetic and welcoming individual to join our team.  

This position is filled by two individuals coordinated to provide full desk coverage. This is a 12 month full-time position from 9am - 5:30pm.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:  greeting visitors, answering phone and direct calls as necessary, taking accurate messages and relaying them in timely manner, being warm and inviting to all visitors and actively participating in problem-solving if necessary, ie. items left behind by students, parents late for pick-up, early dismissal, coordinate mailroom operations, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • It is essential that the person filling this position be punctual and present every day.

  • Upbeat personality, warm and welcoming.

  • The ability to problem-solve to assist visitors, students and employees.

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and postage machines.

  • Experience in Google Docs and Mac is helpful.

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Expected coverage is 9:00am - 5:30pm.
