On the evening of April 3, AIM Academy's inaugural Reading Olympics team competed in their first county-wide competition. These tenacious 5th graders have worked since September to collectively read 45 books and practice answering questions about details in the books under the guidance of teachers Sarah Hughes-Green and Beth Santangelo. The team displayed exemplary teamwork, maturity, and knowledge throughout the event. As a result of their incredible work, the team took home a second-place red ribbon. It was an incredible event celebrating the love of reading with approximately 20 schools at the competition and 6,000 students competing throughout Montgomery County.
