Nancy G. Blair

CO-CEO and CO-FOUNDER

Nancy G. Blair is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of AIM Academy and the AIM Institute for Learning & Research. In November 2022, Nancy and co-founder Pat Roberts received the International Dyslexia Association’s Excellence in Leadership Award for their significant contribution to reshaping education for those with learning differences and teacher training on literacy through AIM Pathways. Pat and Nancy have facilitated partnerships with literacy researchers to scale evidence-based practices, including joining the Haskins Global Literacy Hub as the group’s first school partner to accelerate research to practice and working with Florida Center for Reading Research.

Nancy’s training as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist prepared her to have a deeper understanding of scientific studies where MRIs have shown the need and benefits for scientific-based instruction for children with language-based learning disabilities.  During AIM's first years, she oversaw Admissions and Professional Outreach. She has led the way in teacher training and is currently a Level I Wilson Trainer. She previously worked with co-founder Pat Roberts at West Chester University’s 3E Institute and Educator 500 program.  

Nancy’s dream of helping students was realized in 2006 when she started AlM in conjunction with The Lab School of Washington®. She has presented on various podcasts and conferences and served on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association from 2005-2011. She currently serves on the New York City Department of Education’s Literacy Advisory Council.
