AIM Parents Committee
The AIM Parents Committee (APC) is made up entirely of volunteers who support community events and activities at AIM. We welcome any and every volunteer whether you can work a full day shift at the book fair, want to suggest a new activity, bake (or buy) a mean batch of brownies for our Teacher Appreciation events, or can only spare an hour or so of your time to help at an event like Howl-a-Palooza.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT (December 9)
Join us at AIM for Family Movie. Come enjoy popcorn and a family-friendly movie on the big screen in the AIM Community Center.
EXAM BREAKFASTS (Winter and Spring)
Another wonderful tradition at AIM occurs during midterm and final exam weeks. Breakfast is served to the Middle School and Upper School students before they take their exams. Volunteers are needed to donate, collect and serve food during these breakfasts.
Grandfriends Day is a special afternoon or morning where Lower School and Middle School grandparents or special friends come and enjoy time at AIM with their student, touring the different classrooms and learning about what happens during a school day. This event is run by AIM's Advancement Team and uses APC volunteer support.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR (Nov. 11-16 and Feb. 3-6)
The APC hosts a book fair to celebrate reading. Volunteers are needed to set up and break down the book fair, assist children with book selections during the day, replenish items on the shelves, and to operate cash registers.
TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION (May 1-5)
Teacher and staff appreciation activities are planned for our devoted AIM teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in May. This volunteer committee coordinates collection of food, decorations, and favors for the teachers. Organizers help set up and clean up as needed.
AIM FOR THE STARS GALA (April 27)
This lovely evening organized by the Advancement Office and a large group of volunteers is the largest fundraiser of the year. Volunteers are need for a range of tasks including selling sponsorships, acquiring auction items, decorating, logistics, registration, menu planning and more.
A parent coordinator keeps the families in their grade informed, reaches out to new families in their grade, solicit volunteers for AIM Parent Committee (APC) events, coordinate grade-specific gatherings, support teachers, etc... They will reach out to parents and disseminate any information from the APC.
