There are APC Division Level Leads for Lower, Middle and Upper Schools:

Division Level Leads will work with parent coordinators and volunteers to organize three community events for their division and assist the APC with school-wide events. They will meet with school leaders in their division and support communication between the school and parent coordinators.

AIM Parent Coordinators are key communicators between the APC and classroom teacher or advisor and grade-level families. They assist the APC with events by creating sign-ups and gathering items from families, welcome new families to the grade, and organize at least one grade-level get-together per year.

APC 2023-2024 SUPPORTED Events
WELCOME BACK EVENTS (September)
HOWL-A-PALOOZA (October)
An activity-filled Saturday event planned in coordination with AIM's homecoming soccer games.
EXAM BREAKFASTS (Winter and Spring)
Another wonderful tradition at AIM occurs during midterm and final exam weeks. Breakfast is served to the Middle School and Upper School students before they take their exams. Volunteers are needed to donate, collect and serve food during these breakfasts.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
The APC hosts a book fair to celebrate reading. Volunteers are needed to set up and break down the book fair, assist children with book selections during the day, replenish items on the shelves, and to operate cash registers.
TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
Teacher and staff appreciation activities are planned for our devoted AIM teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week in May. This volunteer committee coordinates collection of food, decorations, and favors for the teachers. Organizers help set up and clean up as needed.
AIM FOR THE STARS GALA
This lovely evening organized by the Advancement Office and a large group of volunteers is the largest fundraiser of the year. Volunteers are need for a range of tasks including selling sponsorships, acquiring auction items, decorating, logistics, registration, menu planning and more.
DIVISION LEVEL APC-PLANNED EVENTS
In addition to the all-school events listed above, Division Leads and Parent Coordinators also plan and support three division-wide events a year and provide support to AIM's Student Life department for other division-specific activities such as:
Lower School:
- Halloween Parade and Trunk or Treat
- Valentine's Day Party
- Drop Everything and Read
Middle School:
- Trunk or Treat
- Winter Glow Ball
- Spring Fling Social
Upper School:
- Homecoming Weekend
- Holiday Party
- Shakespeare Fest
